Hello, I’m Ivy Magno, and my friends affectionately call me “Ibyang.” I’m 26 years old and have been a proud member of GANAP since 2017. Many people wonder why I chose to join GANAP and whether it consumes too much of my time. Little do they know that GANAP has played a pivotal role in my life, offering me invaluable opportunities at a young age.
As a young girl, I was reserved, struggled to make friends, and often adopted a “go-with-the-flow” attitude. However, as I matured, I began to question myself, wondering if there was more to life. I asked, “Is this enough? Is there something I excel at?” It seemed like everyone around me had their passions and dreams figured out, while I felt lost and uncertain about my place in the world. But everything changed when I became a part of GANAP. The group helped me unearth the untapped potential I couldn’t see within myself. They believed in me when I couldn’t believe in myself. They pushed me to embrace my strengths and confront my weaknesses. While setbacks and moments of self-doubt arose, GANAP taught me to view these challenges as opportunities for personal growth rather than reasons for defeat. They became my family and my second home, providing unwavering support even in the most turbulent times.
Every moment and experience with GANAP has been a source of joy and inspiration for me. Sharing the stage with such talented and passionate individuals has further ignited my determination in this craft. I’ve discovered my purpose—to inspire and touch people’s hearts through the magical power of music. GANAP has not only opened doors for me but has also illuminated my path in life.
