I’m Jessica “Ica” Nuñez, and I hold a bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship from Quezon City University. At 25 years old, I’m an independent young entrepreneur who hails from Masbate City, and my journey with the arts began in grade school.
To me, GANAP is more than just an organization; it’s a nurturing home for humble young artists, a source of inspiration from visionary leaders, and a free space where aspiring artists like me can truly flourish. It’s a place where I can authentically express myself, a sanctuary I escape to, my source of comfort and security. When I first joined GANAP, I was primarily a dedicated dancer with no singing or acting experience. But being part of this remarkable group infused me with motivation and an unyielding spirit. I witnessed the unwavering commitment of my fellow GANAP members, mentors, and leaders who encouraged me to push beyond my comfort zone. Over time, I developed not only as a dancer but also as a singer and actor.
It’s incredible to think that I’m now living my dreams, reaching out and touching the lives of people both locally and internationally through the performing arts. One of our original musical plays, “Pintig,” particularly holds a special place in my heart. It was created for a benefit concert supporting the cancer patients of the Kasuso Foundation. The smiles and hope I saw on their faces after the performance was a powerful reminder of the impact of GANAP’s work. Beyond the artistic accomplishments, GANAP has played a pivotal role in my personal development. The skills and values I’ve cultivated within this group continue to influence my daily life. GANAP is not just an organization; it’s my second home, and it will forever hold a place in my heart.
