I’m Lawrence Juviene Figueroa, though my friends affectionately call me “Pot-pot.” I’m 24 years old, residing in Novaliches, Quezon City, with my brother. My journey with the GANAP Performing Arts predates its establishment in 2016 when it was known as GANAP QCPU. This performing group has played an instrumental role in shaping me into the person I am today.
I’ve had a passion for performing since my high school days, driven by my confidence and the joy of bringing happiness to people through my talents. Coming from a financially challenged background in a broken family, I faced considerable adversity. However, my love for performing served as a lifeline, preventing me from succumbing to the hardships. GANAP became my sanctuary, teaching me the invaluable lesson of extracting positivity from every aspect of life. It’s more than a performing group; it’s a family that instilled hope and gave meaning to my existence.
My most unforgettable moment came when I had the opportunity to travel abroad and perform on an international stage with this remarkable family. It was a transformative experience, and since then, we’ve continued to spread hope and joy through our music, standing united despite our differences and backgrounds. I owe my personal growth, resilience, and unforgettable experiences to this extraordinary family of performers. GANAP has not only taught me the art of performance but also the art of resilience, the power of unity, and the ability to overcome adversity with grace. With this family by my side, I’ve not only found a passion for performing but also a purpose in making the world a better place through music.
