Mark Ryan Barbosa

Hello, I’m Mark Ryan Barbosa, a proud graduate of Quezon City Polytechnic University, holding a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. While I may not have believed it at the outset, I stand today as one of the founding members of the GANAP Performing Arts Association Inc., where I wear multiple hats – tenor, actor, dancer, and creatives and multimedia officer. Why GANAP, you might ask? Because it’s more than just an organization; it’s my second home, my second family, and it’s where my true passion resides.

My journey into the performing arts was an unexpected one. I used to believe I had no talent for singing, dancing, or acting, but GANAP proved me wrong. Thanks to this incredible community, I not only found my voice but also discovered my ability to lead on stage, to dance with grace, and to captivate audiences. Through GANAP, I’ve had the privilege to travel to different countries, lend a helping hand to those in need, and connect with a diverse array of individuals.

One unforgettable moment etched in my memory is when we performed in a church in Macau, surrounded by fellow Filipinos. As our performance came to a close, we were overwhelmed by the outpouring of emotions from the audience. They expressed how they saw their loved ones in us and how we had brought a piece of the Philippines to Macau. GANAP has transformed me, shaping me into the person I am today, and I’m eternally grateful for the profound impact it has had on my life.
