Hello, I’m Rhodie Rosales San Juan, currently residing in Novaliches, Quezon City and a bass and band member of GANAP Performing Arts Association.
The question that many ask is, “Why GANAP?” When I initially joined GANAP in August 2018 as a guitarist, I wasn’t privy to all the details. I knew it was an organization dedicated to nurturing talents and sharing them with others. However, it wasn’t long before I had the opportunity to witness the true essence of GANAP. Finding the right words to describe it is a challenge, but for me, it’s a unique, endearing, and embracing family. Before GANAP, I considered myself a typical church musician and lead guitarist in an indie band. However, GANAP opened new horizons for me. I learned how to sing with a choir, read musical notes from a score, and most importantly, how to support and love others. GANAP has been the catalyst for profound changes in my life.
Throughout my journey with GANAP, there have been countless unforgettable moments. One that stands out is the original musical performance of “PINTIG.” It was an exhilarating experience, performing two shows in one day as a musician. Seeing the audience smile, applaud, and exclaim “Ang galing…ang ganda sobra” was truly heartwarming. Moments like this fuel my passion for performing with GANAP Performing Arts. Our team-building activities in 2018 also left a lasting impression. Despite the rain, we persevered, creating unforgettable memories while forging a stronger, more cohesive team. These experiences are shaping us to become better individuals and leaders, ultimately shaping the future of GANAP.
